17-4PH Stainless Steel Description
17-4PH stainless steel is a precipitation-hardening martensitic
stainless steel,with the additions of chromium, nickel, copper and
niobium. 17-4ph material has high strength and hardness,and also
maintain good corrosion resistance with heat treatment,used for
applications requiring high strength and a moderate level of
corrosion resistance.
It is one of the most widely used precipitation hardening grades,
as it has high strength hardness up to about 572°F while
demonstrating good corrosion resistance in all heat treated
conditions. 17-4 steel has adequate resistance to atmospheric
corrosion or in diluted acid salts where its corrosion resistance
is equivalent to Grades 304 or 430.

grades, including 201, 304, 304L, 321, 316, 316L, 309S, 310S, 904L,
and more. We can also provide stainless steel sheet in various

service as your requirement.
17-4 Material Features
- High tensile strength and hardness to 600°F

- Excellent oxidation resistance to about 1100°F
- Creep-rupture strength to 900°F
