Description
SKD61 Steel is used widely for medium-run cold-work tools and dies,
for plastic-molding dies, for shear blades, for medium hot-work
dies, for master hobs, and for component parts of many products.
It is recommended for both hot and cold shock applications such as
rivet sets, chisels, punches, moil points, hot headers and gripper
dies. S7 is also suited for short-run dies used in coldforming,
blanking, and bending. Other uses include: engraving dies, machined
cavities for plasticmolding dies, die-casting dies, shear blades,
and master hobs.

Hot working tool steels are used in the hot-forming of work-pieces
made of iron and non-ferrous metals as well as alloy derivatives at
high temperatures. They are utilised in processes such as pressure
die casting, continuous casting, extrusion and drop forging as well
as in tube and glass manufacturing.

Used for making hot squeezing mold,forging mold, and embedded lump.

die, die casting, hot forging die and hot shear blades, etc.
B, Extrusion mold of aluminum and magnesium, die-casting mold,
especially adapt to the mold in large and complicated form.
